Job BriefWe are looking for a QA Tester to assess software quality through manual and automated testing. You will be responsible for finding and reporting application bugs and issues.Responsibilities1. Review and analyze system specifications2. Gathering requirements to develop effective strategies and test plans3. Test new and existing features, debug code (units and integration)4. Execute test cases (manual or automated) and analyze results5. Create logs to document testing phases and defects6. Report bugs and errors to development teams7. Help troubleshoot issues8. Conduct post-release/ post-implementation testing9. Work with cross-functional teams to ensure quality throughout the software development lifecycle10. Other duties as required.11. Technical documentation of test cases being performed.Requirements and skills1. 4+ years experience as a Quality Assurance Tester or similar role2. Familiarity with Agile frameworks and regression testing is a plus3. Ability to document and troubleshoot errors4. Working knowledge of test management software (e.g. qTest, Zephyr, Selenium) and SQL5. Excellent communication skills6. Excellent troubleshooting skills.7. Analytical mind and problem-solving aptitude8. B.E./B.Tech/BCA/MCA or a related field
