Job Summary:The Junior Quantity Surveying Engineer will assist in cost estimation, quantity take-oAs, and project cost control. This role supports the QS team in preparing bills of quantities (BOQ), verifying subcontractor invoices, and ensuring delivery of take-oA sheets engineering projects and tendering projects.Key Responsibilities:Assist in the preparation of BOQs based on drawings, specifications, and site visits.Conduct quantity take-oAs for civil, structural and architectural works as applicable.Participate in site measurements and verify subcontractor claims and payment applications.Maintain records of variations and support the preparation of variation orders and claims.Ensure adherence to quality standards.Assist in preparing monthly interim payment applications and final accounts.Requirements:Bachelors degree in Quantity Survey, Civil Engineering, or an equivalent field.2 years of relevant experience in construction or engineering projects.Basic understanding of standard methods of measurement (e.g., POMI, CESMM).Familiarity with software tools such as AutoCAD, MS Excel, and preferably iTwo CostX.Strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and willingness to learn.Good communication and team collaboration skills.Willingness to work on-site or at project locations as needed.
