The Solar Engineer will be responsible for designing, implementing, and overseeing solar energy systems for residential, commercial, or industrial applications. This role involves evaluating system performance, ensuring compliance with regulations, and working closely with clients and project teams to deliver effective solar solutions.Key Responsibilities:Design and Development:Develop detailed designs for solar photovoltaic (PV) systems, including layout, equipment selection, and electrical schematics.Perform site assessments and evaluate solar potential, shading, and structural integrity.Create and review technical specifications and project plans.Project Management:Oversee the installation of solar systems from start to finish, ensuring adherence to design specifications and timelines.Coordinate with contractors, vendors, and other stakeholders to ensure successful project execution.Manage project budgets, timelines, and resource allocation.Technical Support:Provide technical support and troubleshooting for installed systems.Conduct performance monitoring and analysis to ensure optimal system efficiency.Recommend and implement system upgrades or modifications as needed.Regulatory Compliance:Ensure compliance with local, state, and federal regulations and standards related to solar energy systems.Prepare and submit necessary permits and documentation.Client Interaction:Communicate with clients to understand their needs and provide solutions.Present system designs and proposals, and provide technical explanations to non-engineers.Offer post-installation support and maintenance services.Research and Development:Stay current with industry trends, technologies, and best practices.Evaluate new solar technologies and methodologies for potential implementation.Documentation and Reporting:Maintain accurate records of project designs, installations, and maintenance activities.contract person hr - 7855897970
