This role requires strong negotiation skills, a keen eye for detail, and a deep understanding of diamonds market.Key Responsibilities:Purchase and Procurement:Diamond Procurement: Assist in the procurement of certified diamonds, maintaining high standards for quality and competitive pricing.Supplier Websites and Coordination: Review supplier websites for procurement options and coordinate with suppliers for the seamless delivery of goods.Quality Assurance: Conduct physical inspections and quality assessments, evaluating clarity, polish, and symmetry grades per GIA standards. Negotiation: Get the best deals for buyers including offers, negotiations, and order confirmations. Provide price transparency via our auction-based technology.Supplier Expansion: Increase the registration of diamond suppliers on the Liquid Diamonds platform, promoting the use of auction-based technology.Order Management: Oversee purchasing and order processing within timelinesOrder Entry and Tracking: Manage purchase entries in internal software or Excel, ensuring accurate records. Market Intelligence: Inform management of significant developments, such as new competitors, campaigns, or other impactful changes in the market.
