As a New Product Development (NPD) Engineer, you will play a crucial role in designing and developing innovative products that meet customer needs and market demands. You will be involved in the entire product development lifecycle, from brainstorming new ideas to launching products to market. **Key Responsibilities:**- **Product Design and Development:** Create detailed designs of new products, ensuring they meet specifications and quality standards.- **Research and Analysis:** Conduct market research to identify trends and customer needs to inform product development strategies.- **Cross-Functional Collaboration:** Work closely with teams including marketing, production, and quality assurance to ensure successful product launches.- **Prototype Testing:** Develop prototypes and conduct tests to evaluate functionality, reliability, and performance, making necessary adjustments based on feedback.- **Documentation:** Maintain accurate records of product development processes, including design specifications, test results, and product iterations.- **Compliance and Standards Adherence:** Ensure that all products meet industry regulations and company standards for safety, quality, and performance.**Required Skills and Expectations:**The ideal candidate should possess a Bachelors degree in Engineering (B.E) and have 2-3 years of experience in product development. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills are essential, along with creativity and attention to detail. Proficiency in CAD software for design purposes is necessary. Excellent communication skills are expected to facilitate collaboration with various teams. The candidate should be able to work effectively in a team-oriented environment and exhibit a proactive approach to challenges.
