Responsible for diagnostic imaging procedures that involve radioactive materials, and nuclear medicine physicians have to handle scans in order to diagnose patients. PET scan of the brain, accumulate differently in different parts of the brain based on chemical activity. Physician handle all regions on the scan, different types of nuclear medicine testing to help them diagnose conditions as varied as dementia and hyperthyroidism, as able to further for the patient requirements.

Core Responsibilities1. Morning:9am to 2 pm and Evening:5 pm to 8 pm in Hospital2.Cover ICU and call overs to casualty and ward3. Hospital Adult cases rounds4. Responsibility for ward Adult casesResponsibilities after hoursOP/IP/ICUMust come over for Septic Shock, LVF,ACS and Stroke any time after office hours.Decide about admitted cases via phone whether to come over or notMust give guidance to CMOs and ward doctors by phone for admitted cases and op casesMust attend phone calls 24 x 7 from hospital
