Bachelor of Fine Arts, Design, or related feld orequivalent experiencePrepares work to be accomplished by gathering information andmaterials.Plans concept by studying information and materials.Illustrates concept by designing rough layout of art and copyregarding arrangement, size, type size and style, and relatedaesthetic concepts.Obtains approval of concept by submitting rough layout for approval.Prepares fnished copy and art by operating typesetting, printing, andsimilar equipment; and purchasing from vendors.Prepares fnal layout by marking and pasting up fnished copy andart.Ensures operation of equipment by completing preventivemaintenance requirements; following manufacturers instructions;troubleshooting malfunctions; calling for repairs; maintainingequipment inventories; and evaluating new equipment.Completes projects by coordinating with outside agencies, artservices, printers, etc.Maintains technical knowledge by attending design workshops;reviewing professional publications; and participating in professionalsocieties.Contributes to team efort by accomplishing related results asneeded.Needs to be profcient with Adobe Photoshop and Illustrator.
