As a Neonatologist, you will be responsible for providing specialized medical care to newborns, particularly those who are premature or born with complications. Your expertise will be crucial in diagnosing and treating newborns with various health issues, coordinating care with pediatricians and other specialists, and ensuring the well-being of both premature infants and full-term newborns.Key Responsibilities:Provide comprehensive medical care to newborn infants in the Neonatal Intensive Care Unit (NICU) and in other hospital settings as needed.Diagnose and manage medical conditions such as respiratory distress syndrome, infections, birth defects, and other neonatal disorders.Perform procedures such as intubation, central line placements, and lumbar punctures when necessary.Collaborate with pediatricians, nurses, respiratory therapists, and other healthcare professionals to develop and implement treatment plans.Educate and support families on newborn care, medical conditions, and treatment options.Participate in multidisciplinary rounds, conferences, and research activities to advance neonatal care and outcomes.Maintain accurate medical records and documentation in compliance with hospital policies and regulatory requirements.Qualifications:Medical degree (MD or DO) from an accredited medical school.Board certification in Neonatology.Current state medical licensure and DEA registration.Fellowship training in Neonatology from an accredited program.Proven experience working in a Neonatal Intensive Care Unit (NICU) setting preferred.Strong clinical skills in the diagnosis and management of complex neonatal conditions.Excellent communication skills witCALL FOR MORE : 9011935513
