The primary responsibilities of the Patent Agent will include:1. Patent Drafting: Prepare and review high-quality patent applications in the electrical/electronic domain, ensuring compliance with legal requirements and technical specifications. Collaborate with inventors and technical experts to obtain necessary information and documentation.2. Patent Prosecution: Manage patent prosecution matters, including drafting responses to office actions, conducting legal research, and developing arguments to overcome rejections. Interface with clients and patent examiners to navigate the patent prosecution process effectively.3. Patent Hearings: Represent clients in patent-related hearings before patent offices and tribunals. Prepare hearing briefs, analyze technical evidence, and present legal arguments to protect clients' patent rights within the electrical/electronic domain.4. Patent Portfolio Management: Assist in the management and strategic development of clients' patent portfolios in the electrical/electronic field. Conduct patent searches and analysis to assess patentability, freedom to operate, and infringement risks. Provide valuable insights and recommendations to clients regarding their patent strategies.
