We are looking for a dedicated Paint Shop Supervisor to oversee our paint shop operations in Gurgaon, India. The role requires strong leadership skills and at least 1 to 7 years of experience in paint application processes. The ideal candidate should have completed 10th grade and be ready to work full-time in an office environment.Key Responsibilities:- Overseeing Daily Operations: You will ensure that all paint shop activities run smoothly and efficiently, adhering to production schedules and quality standards.- Managing Staff: Supervise and guide a team of painters and workers, providing training and support to improve their skills and productivity.- Quality Control: Monitor the quality of paint applications and ensure all finished products meet company standards for safety and aesthetics.- Inventory Management: Manage the inventory of paint supplies and materials, making sure that necessary items are stocked and readily available for daily operations.- Safety Compliance: Enforce safety protocols and ensure that all staff comply with workplace safety regulations to prevent accidents and injuries.Required Skills and Expectations:The ideal candidate should possess strong leadership and communication skills to effectively manage a team. You should be detail-oriented and have a good understanding of painting techniques and materials. Key responsibilities:1. Conduct regular inspections and maintenance of mechanical systems and equipment.- Ensure that all machinery and equipment are in good working condition to prevent breakdowns and production delays.2. Troubleshoot and diagnose mechanical issues and perform repairs as needed.- Identify the root cause of mechanical problems and implement timely and effective solutions to minimize downtime.3. Develop and implement preventive maintenance schedules for all mechanical systems.- Create maintenance plans to proactively address potential issues and ensure optimal operation of equipment.4. Coordinate with vendors and contractors for specialized repairs or part replacements.- Work with external parties to acquire necessary resources and expertise for complex mechanical repairs.5. Keep detailed records of maintenance activities, repairs, and equipment performance.- Document all maintenance tasks and outcomes to track equipment history and performance trends.Required skills and expectations:- Diploma in Mechanical Engineering or related field.- 3-9 years of experience in mechanical maintenance in an industrial setting.- Strong technical knowledge of mechanical systems and equipment.- Ability to read and interpret technical manuals and schematics.- Excellent troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.- Good communication and interpersonal skills.- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.- Willingness to work in a male-dominated work environment.
