Job description: Hiring, Training & Retaining the team members in your functional domain. Paint shop Planning along with PPA for optimum resource utilization of (man, material, method, machines) and allocating the available resources as per time scheduling. Follow Job Card / Work Order system and control the Quality and Productivity. Responsible for process optimization to achieve Target Productivity, RFT and OEE and Plant utilization. Ensuring process compliance by monitoring processes, identifying causes and making changes for final scale up, MIS Generation and monitoring Hourly production and reporting Ensure SAP-ERP, BARCODE system & FIFO in Paint shop in effectively. Handling production data thru SAP production records must be 100% updated on real time basis. Co-ordination of activities with PPC, QA,MMT , TMT, RSD,ASSY Sections for routine work or for any issues . Generate MRM- MIS on Inventory, Consumptions, FG / WIP Stocks & Sales Rev. Focus and control on Internal PPM, Customer Rejection. Manage Paint kitchen, quality SOP Std as per agreed Std with each customer / product lines. Achieving 100% demand fulfillment for each customer. Coordination with Inj. Mold-Shop on Daily Basis and Plan adjustment to meet 100% customer demands while maintaining Stocks. Machine Load and Capacity planning & Optimization & Sales Maximization. Drive Kaizens & Productivity improvement through Automation, waste elimination & rejection control. Managing Utility, Implements and Support Auxiliaries for 100% Uptime of Paint shop. Monthly MRM data preparation Customer Delivery Performance. Generate MRM- MIS on Inventory, Consumptions, FG / WIP Stocks & Sales.Educational Qualification: B.E/B.Tech, Diploma in paint technologyTechnical skills: Paint shop, SAP-ERP, BARCODE, FIFOSoft skills: Communications skills, Team buildingExperience: 7-12 years in paint shop

Responsibilities:1. Paint Shop Operations Management:o Plan, organize, and oversee all activities within the paint shop, includingsurface preparation, paint mixing, application, drying, and curing processes.o Ensure adherence to production schedules and deadlines while maintaininghigh standards of quality and efficiency.2. Quality Assurance and Control:o Implement and enforce quality control measures and inspection procedures toensure consistent and flawless paint finishes.o Monitor paint application techniques, thickness, color consistency, andadherence to customer specifications and quality standards.3. Equipment and Facility Maintenance:o Oversee maintenance and upkeep of paint shop equipment, including spraybooths, paint guns, drying ovens, and ventilation systems.o Schedule regular inspections, preventive maintenance, and repairs to minimizedowntime and ensure operational efficiency.4. Safety and Compliance:o Ensure compliance with health, safety, and environmental regulations relatedto paint application and handling of hazardous materials.o Promote and enforce safe work practices, including proper handling anddisposal of paint materials and chemicals.5. Team Leadership and Development:o Lead, train, and supervise a team of paint shop technicians and operators.o Foster a culture of teamwork, accountability, and continuous improvementwithin the paint shop team.6. Inventory and Resource Management:o Manage inventory levels of paints, coatings, solvents, and related materials tosupport production schedules and minimize waste.o Optimize resource utilization, including labor, materials, and equipment, toachieve cost-effective production outcomes.7. Continuous Improvement Initiatives:o Identify opportunities for process optimization and efficiency improvementswithin the paint shop.o Implement lean manufacturing principles, 5S methodology, or othercontinuous improvement initiatives to enhance productivity and reduce waste.
