The ideal candidate should have strong knowledge of scalable applications, API development, microservices architecture, and cloud deployments. You will work closely with cross-functional teams to design, develop, and deliver high-quality software solutions.Key ResponsibilitiesDesign, develop, and maintain scalable backend applications using Node.js.Build RESTful APIs and GraphQL services for mobile/web applications.Work with databases like MongoDB, MySQL, PostgreSQL, or Redis.Implement microservices architecture and ensure system scalability.Integrate third-party APIs and develop internal libraries.Ensure best practices in coding, security, performance, and testing.Collaborate with frontend, DevOps, and product teams to deliver features on time.Write unit tests, integration tests and ensure high code quality with tools like Jest/Mocha/Chai.Mentor junior developers and review code for consistency and performance.Stay updated with the latest Node.js frameworks and backend technologies.Required Skills7 - 8 years of hands-on experience in Node.js, Express.js, Nest.js.Strong knowledge of JavaScript (ES6+) & TypeScript.Proficiency in asynchronous programming, event-driven architecture.Strong experience with databases MongoDB, MySQL/PostgreSQL.Knowledge of Docker, Kubernetes, CI/CD pipelines.Familiarity with AWS, GCP, or Azure cloud services.Experience in performance optimization, caching, and scalability.Excellent understanding of Git, version control, and Agile methodologies.Problem-solving mindset and strong debugging skills.Good to HaveExperience in message queues (RabbitMQ, Kafka).Knowledge of Serverless architecture (AWS Lambda, Firebase Functions).Familiarity with frontend frameworks (React/Angular) for full-stack development.Exposure to DevOps tools and practices.EducationBachelors or Masters degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.
