As a Vehicle Mechanic, you will be responsible for diagnosing, repairing, and maintaining various vehicles. Key responsibilities include conducting routine maintenance checks, identifying mechanical issues, performing repairs on engines, brakes, and other systems, and ensuring vehicles are in safe working condition. You will also be responsible for documenting repairs and communicating with customers. The ideal candidate should have at least 1 year of experience working as a mechanic, with a minimum education level of 10th pass. Strong knowledge of vehicle systems and excellent problem-solving skills are essential for this role. Attention to detail, the ability to work independently, and good communication skills are also important qualities for this position. As a Vehicle Mechanic, you will be expected to work full-time from the office in Ahmedabad, India. Male candidates are preferred for this position.

- Perform routine maintenance and repairs on a variety of bicycles: As a Bike Mechanic, you will be responsible for inspecting, tuning, and repairing bicycles to ensure they are safe and functioning properly. This includes tasks such as adjusting gears, brakes, and wheels, as well as replacing worn or damaged parts.- Diagnose and troubleshoot mechanical issues: You will need to use your knowledge and experience to identify the root cause of any problems with the bikes you are working on. This may involve conducting tests, taking apart components, and using tools to fix issues efficiently.- Assemble new bikes and install components: In addition to repairing existing bikes, you may also be required to assemble brand new bikes straight from the manufacturer. This can involve attaching handlebars, pedals, wheels, and other components to create a fully functional bike.- Maintain a clean and organized workspace: Keeping your work area tidy and well-maintained is crucial for efficiency and safety. You will need to properly store tools, parts, and equipment, as well as dispose of any waste or hazardous materials appropriately.Skills and Expectations:- Strong mechanical aptitude and problem-solving skills- Excellent attention to detail and precision in work- Ability to work independently and efficiently- Good communication skills to interact with customers and team members- Physical stamina and strength to lift and maneuver heavy bikes and equipment.

Although this is variable from dealership to dealership, their knowledge and skills generally extend to the following:Basic assessment of vehicles , including collision impact assessment.Knowing and implementing the manufacturers and dealerships policies on car service - including interval recommendations, warranty & insurance, repair and maintenance details, oil changes, spare part details, costs and prices, timelines , etc.Booking appointments , taking inventory, conducting inspections, and sending out invoices.Coordinating with the manufacturers and other sources for spare parts & other requirements.Understanding of all technical documents related to the car.Making informed recommendations based on the customers needs and wants.Identifying & explaining to the customer whats required , what has been done, how long it will take, and explanation of costs for the same.Excellent comprehension and communication skills, as well as the ability to think on their feet.
