Key Responsibilities Create original and innovative hand-drawn jewellery designs for rings, earrings, pendants, necklaces, bangles, bracelets, and complete jewellery sets. Prepare detailed manual sketches with accurate proportions, dimensions, and design specifications suitable for manufacturing. Develop customized jewellery designs based on client requirements, market trends, and seasonal collections. Select appropriate gemstones, diamonds, and metal combinations while ensuring design feasibility. Collaborate closely with CAD designers, production teams, merchandisers, and sample development teams to ensure accurate execution of designs. Revise and modify designs based on customer feedback and production requirements. Research global jewellery trends, fashion movements, and emerging design concepts to create commercially successful collections. Maintain a portfolio and design library of sketches, concepts, and completed collections. Ensure designs comply with quality standards, manufacturing capabilities, and cost considerations. Participate in product development meetings and contribute creative ideas for new collections.

Job Role: - The main role of the Manual Designer role in a jewellery manufacturing company is to create intricate and high-quality designs for jewellery pieces. - The primary purpose of this role is to conceptualize, design, and develop jewellery pieces using manual design techniques. - This position plays a crucial role in transforming concepts and ideas into tangible handcrafted masterpieces & designs that can be further used for production. - This role requires exceptional creativity, technical proficiency, and a deep understanding of manual jewellery manufacturing techniques. - The Manual Designer is responsible for utilizing their artistic skills, attention to detail, and knowledge of jewellery manufacturing techniques to produce unique and visually appealing designs that meet customer requirements. Location: Jaipur Qualification (Must/Desirable): Any graduate/ postgraduate preferably in Jewellery DesignExperience: minimum 5-6 years of exposure in manual jewellery design, or in a similar role within the jewellery manufacturing industry. Job Requirement: - Proficient in in manual design techniques, hand sketching, rendering, and creating detailed technical drawings using industry-standard software. - Understanding of gemstones/diamond, their characteristics, and various setting styles. - Excellent artistic and creative abilities with an eye for detail and aesthetics. - Knowledge of Corel, CAD or other design softwares and tools is desirable. - Proven Knowledge of the different categories of jewellery e.g. rings, bracelets etc and of regional specialties of jewellery - Creative and innovative mindset with a strong attention to detail. - Strong understanding of jewellery manufacturing processes and materials. - Understanding of the technical drawings of jewellery shapes - Ability to work in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment while maintaining quality standards. - Ability to manage people and provide training as per the requirement.

You must be able to relate well to the organization in order to understand design specifications, as well as master the creative and practical skills needed to make a product.Youll need an expert understanding and command of design processes, such as cutting, shaping, polishing, stone setting, mounting, welding and engraving.Presenting sample designs and ideas to the company, and recommending several options or alternatives which may even surpass their expectations.Well versed with Rendering and Presentation Techniques. A mixture of creative skills and commercial awareness is vital in designing original pieces of Jewellery.Your work involves holding consultations with your manager, discussing a range of options and formulating original ideas as well as sketching out ideas to help visualize the finished design.Can make new concepts as well as modification to old designs as per customer requirements.You will obviously need to be a creative individual with excellent people skills.
