Technical Chemist - Nutraceutical Mints [3+ Years]Title: Technical Chemist - Formulation & QC (Nutraceutical Mints)Location: Vadodara Factory Reports to: Production HeadExperience: Minimum 3 years in pharma/nutraceutical R&D or QCCTC Range: 6.5-8 LPA (can adjust upward for 3-5 years experience)Key ResponsibilitiesDevelop and optimize formulations for functional energy/focus mints (e.g., 40 mg caffeine + 40 mg L-theanine per mint) ensuring FSSAI Health Supplement compliance.Conduct raw material quality checks (caffeine anhydrous, L-theanine, xylitol, flavours, sweeteners) using HPLC, titration and standard pharmacopeial methods.Run stability studies (e.g., 40C / 75% RH) to establish and document product shelf life for at least 18-24 months.Design and monitor dissolution and disintegration profiles so that 80% of active ingredients are released within target melt time in the mouth.Scale up from lab batches to pilot and commercial batches (10K-50K mints), prepare manufacturing instructions and process parameters.Qualify and audit raw material vendors, set specifications and approve COAs.Maintain all formulation, validation and QC documentation as per GMP and FSSAI requirements.Must-Have QualificationsB.Pharm / M.Pharm or M.Sc (Analytical / Organic / Pharmaceutical Chemistry).3-6 years experience in pharma or nutraceutical formulation/QC (solid oral or confectionery preferred).Hands-on experience with HPLC, UV spectroscopy and basic analytical method validation.Working knowledge of Indian FSSAI regulations for Health Supplements / Nutraceuticals.Key Deliverables (First 3-6 Months)Within 1 month: FSSAI-compliant prototype formula and small pilot batch.Within 3 months: Stability protocol plus 3month accelerated stability data.Within 6 months: Validated commercial process for at least one mint SKU and complete technical dossier.
