Qualification Graduation/ PGExperience 1 year RequiredJob Description Good Communication skills.Role:Ensures that safe practices and procedures are maintained.Conducts regular physical checks on science lab equipment to ensure that the equipment is in working order.Prepares and cleans up the science labs for secondary science classes.Administers emergency first aid to students.Monitors the science area for hazardous conditions, unsafe practices other safety concerns.Cleans up chemical spills including the maintenance and use of the emergency spill kit (e.g., collecting spilled mercury).Monitors the security of the natural gas supply in the science lab.Provides instruction to all lab users on proper use of equipment and ensures all lab equipment is properly cared for.Diagnoses hardware problems and fixes them or contacts the appropriate engineer to correct the problem.Sets up and shuts down the lab according to work hours.
