As a CNC Operator, you will be responsible for operating computer numerical control (CNC) machines to produce precise components according to specifications. This role involves following technical drawings and using different tools to ensure high-quality production.**Key Responsibilities:**- **Set Up CNC Machines:** You will prepare and configure CNC machines for production runs, ensuring they are ready for operation.- **Operate CNC Machines:** Monitor the machines during operation to make sure they are functioning correctly and producing parts accurately.- **Quality Control:** Inspect finished products using measuring tools to ensure they meet specifications and tolerances before they are sent out.- **Maintain Equipment:** Perform routine maintenance on CNC machines to keep them running smoothly and prevent breakdowns.- **Troubleshooting:** Identify and resolve issues that arise during the machining process to maintain efficiency and quality.**Required Skills and Expectations:**Candidates should have a background in mechanical or production technology, ideally with an I.T.I. certification. Basic knowledge of CNC programming and operation is preferred. Strong attention to detail and the ability to read technical drawings are essential. You should possess good problem-solving skills and be able to work independently as well as in a team. Effective communication skills are important for collaborating with other team members and reporting issues. A willingness to learn and improve skills over time is also expected, particularly for candidates with less experience.
