Job descriptionTo plan for and carry out all procedures of patient care including administration of medication according to standing instructions, assisting Doctors in various medical and surgical diagnostic procedures, performing diagnostic procedures, collecting and sending of specimens to lab, prepares patient for operations.Makes a complete assessment of all assigned patients on admission / at the beginning of the shift so as to plan the activities in order of priority while applying principles of safe patient care.To provide hands-on care to patients by administering medications, managing intravenous lines, observing and monitoring patients' conditions, maintaining records and communicating with doctors.Take over of all patients as per the guidelines and protocol.To maintain accurate records, reports and ensure that the billing sheet is filled in correctly and patient is charged for all procedure services, medications etc.To maintain proper patient record and procedure as per the international standards.To maintain all articles, stock of drugs, linen and other supplies, poisonous drug register inventory by periodical checking replacement.Desired Candidate ProfileQualification: BSC/ GNM having more than 0-10 Years of experience relevant experience in hospitalMust have knowledge of various procedures required to take care of the patient, related to surgeries, post surgery, general care etc.Should have a positive personality and be sympathetic to the patients and their care givers.Candidate should have good communication skills.
