Computer Hardware & Networking Engineer Job DescriptionA Computer Hardware & Networking Engineer is responsible for the design, implementation, maintenance, and troubleshooting of an organization's computer systems, including the physical components (hardware) and the connectivity structure (network). This role ensures the reliability and efficiency of the company's IT infrastructure.Core Responsibilities1. Hardware ManagementInstallation and Configuration: Install, configure, and upgrade computer hardware, operating systems, and applications (e.g., desktops, laptops, servers, printers).Maintenance and Repair: Diagnose and repair faults in hardware components (e.g., motherboards, hard drives, memory), escalating issues to vendor support when necessary.Inventory Control: Maintain an accurate inventory of all IT assets, managing hardware life cycles from procurement to disposal.2. Network InfrastructureDesign and Setup: Assist in the design and deployment of LANs (Local Area Networks), WANs (Wide Area Networks), and wireless networks.Troubleshooting: Resolve complex network issues, including connectivity problems, bandwidth limitations, and security breaches, focusing on devices like routers, switches, and firewalls.Security: Implement and maintain network security measures, including access controls, VPNs, and regular system backups.3. Technical Support and AdministrationHelp Desk Support: Provide timely technical support to end-users (Tier 1 and 2), resolving hardware, software, and network connectivity problems.Server Administration: Perform basic server administration tasks, including user account management, permissions, and monitoring server performance.Documentation: Create and maintain comprehensive documentation for network configurations, procedures, troubleshooting guides, and infrastructure maps.

System Monitoring & Operation:Monitor computer systems, networks, and peripheral devices to ensure optimal performance and identify any anomalies or errors.Execute routine batch jobs, scheduled tasks, and system processes as per established procedures.Perform system startup and shutdown procedures as required.Maintain logs of system activities, incidents, and resolutions.Data Entry & Management:Accurately input data into various software applications, databases, or spreadsheets (e.g., MS Excel, specialized ERP/CRM software, Tally).Verify data for accuracy and completeness, correcting any errors or inconsistencies.Organize and maintain digital files and documents in a structured manner.Perform data backup and recovery procedures as per schedule to prevent data loss.Printing & Documentation:Manage and operate printers, scanners, and other office equipment.Handle large-scale printing jobs, including reports, invoices, labels, and other essential documents.Ensure proper paper handling, toner/ink replacement, and basic maintenance of printing devices.Assist in maintaining organized physical and digital records.Basic Troubleshooting & Support:Perform first-level troubleshooting for common hardware and software issues (e.g., printer jams, network connectivity problems, application errors).Escalate complex technical issues to IT support or senior personnel as needed.Assist users with basic computer-related queries and provide guidance on software usage.System Maintenance & Security:Assist in routine system maintenance tasks, such as disk cleanup, anti-virus scans, and software updates.Ensure adherence to data security protocols and confidentiality policies.Report any suspicious activities or security breaches.Compliance & Reporting:Adhere to company policies and procedures regarding computer operations and data handling.Generate routine operational reports as requested by management.

Having Experience in Networking, Ip-cctv, Ip-pbx, Access Control, City Surveillance Light Automation, Inverter Ups Home Theatres all are Field Works

Computer Hardware & Networking Engineer for Onsite as well as remote support.Through Knowledge of Server, Laptops, Desktop assembling, fitting, OS Installation & Windows, Networking Setting & configuring troubleshooting is a must.Through Knowledge of Configuring & troubleshooting of Microsoft Outlook & Windows 10 Networking, File Sharing is required.
