We are looking for an experienced Guidewire Policy Center developer who also has experience working on the EDGE API layer that is consumed by our front-facing agency portal. Write accurate and efficient program code, update and expand existing programs, debug existing programs, and test software with both manual and automated unit test approaches. Should be skilled in Guidewire Policy Center development including working on the EDGE API layer.ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS: 1. Expert using application development for more than one technology as well as proficient in multiple design techniques. 2. Full stack development with Guidewire Policy Center that includes the EDGE API layer. 3. Analyzes existing program logic to determine best method of accomplishing required changes or cause of program malfunction. 4. Performs maintenance and modification of programs currently in production to keep them responsive to user needs and to assure efficient operation in the production environment. 5. Error handling / code exception management. 6. Designs program logic to meet specifications and to adhere to development and architecture standards. 7. Prepares test data and thoroughly tests code leveraging automated unit test framework (when possible). 8. Analyzes production programs to isolate problems or to determine more efficient methods. 9. Documents and maintains program specifications according to Grange standards. 10. Fulfills administrative reporting requirements. 11. May act as a lead and coach less experienced team members on technology, process or projects.Interested can share resumes
