Scan and record items accurately, apply discounts or promotions as required, and ensure prices are correct.- Product Knowledge: Familiarize yourself with the store's products, promotions, and sales to effectively assist customers with their purchases and provide recommendations when needed.- Bagging and Packaging: Properly bag or package customers purchases, ensuring items are handled carefully and packaged securely to prevent damage. Offer assistance in carrying heavy or bulky items to customers vehicles when required.- Store Maintenance: Keep the checkout area clean and organized, ensuring the availability of necessary supplies such as bags, receipt paper, and pens. Assist in restocking merchandise near the cash register area as needed.- Returns and Exchanges: Process returns and exchanges according to the store's policies, verify items and receipts, and issue appropriate refunds or store credits. Handle any customer inquiries or complaints related to returns.- Sales Support: Assist in other areas of the store as needed, such as restocking shelves, organizing displays, or providing support during busy periods.
