Key Responsibilities Translate Figma designs into pixel-perfect, accessible, responsive UIs, with clear attention to state management and separation of concerns. Build and maintain modular, performant React applications leveraging MFEs and AppKit in a monorepo structure. Lead or contribute to feature development end-to-end, considering architecture, performance, testing, telemetry, and long-term maintainability. Participate actively in refinement and planning sessions to deeply understand business needs and ensure we're building the right thing. Mentor and review PRs, fostering a culture of high standards, quality, and continuous improvement. Participate in architectural discussions and align implementation details with broader front-end and back-end patterns. Ensure production-readiness through robust logging, monitoring, and metrics via DataDog and related tooling. Write unit, integration, and e2e tests using modern frameworks and contribute to overall test automation coverage. Contribute to shared component libraries and enforce consistency across the front-end ecosystem. Required Skills & Experience 58+ years of professional experience in front-end development, ideally in a scaled engineering program. Strong proficiency in React, including Hooks, Context API, and component design principles. Hands-on experience with GraphQL for integrating front-end with back-end services. Experience with state management tools such as Redux, Redux Toolkit, Zustand. Solid understanding of component architecture, code splitting, and performance optimizations using React Query, TanStack Query, memoization techniques. Experience building and supporting scalable front-end applications using Micro Frontends and component-driven design. Skilled in turning Figma designs into high-quality code with strong attention to detail and responsiveness. Comfortable working in a Trunk-Based Development model with Nx Monorepo, CI/CD pipelines, and GitHub. Experience with GitHub PR workflows, trunk-based development, and CI/CD pipelines (e.g., GitHub Actions, Azure DevOps). Familiarity with AppKit or internal design systems and how to use them for scalable UI development. Experience in refinement, estimation, and agile planning ceremonies. Strong collaboration and communication skills proactive in challenging unclear requirements or poor designs. Nice to Have Experience with NestJS, Node.js, and back-end integration concepts. Familiarity with Azure Service Bus/Event Hub for async messaging workflows. Exposure to production monitoring and alerting setups with tools like DataDog. Knowledge of caching strategies and frontend API integration performance patterns. Experience with MongoDB performance tuning, aggregations, and schema design for read/write optimization. Experience with documentation automation tools like Storybook or Swagger. Exposure to accessibility best practices and internationalization strategies.
