Finishing Engineer - JD Job Responsibilities1. This position requires all round professional ability and self-motivation. You will be required to perform duties diligently to the quality standards set by the Client and be committed to their implementation and continuous improvement at all times.2. Establish a system to ensure collaborative problem solving with the site delivery team, which will involve regular dialogue with contractors, team working and risk sharing.3. Effective in building good working relationships within complex structures both within projects, with clients and internally.4. Should handle finishing works in the assigned project/s5. Coordinates program activities designed to manage high end floor finishes, joinery works, wall finishes, facades, structural glazing, wall claddings, interior works, etc. from conceptual stage through life cycle of project.6. Develops and implements program activities, coordinates efforts of contractors, subcontractors and consultants and resolves problems in area of finishings to ensure meeting of contractual commitments.7. Monitor performance of contractors and suppliers8. To implement and ensure maintenance of quality management systems for projects9. To carry out Technical supervision of ongoing Civil & Finishing work at all stages10. Guide / Instruct Junior engineer / Supervisor to prepare required fields and reports pertaining to project11. To check the quality of all the materials received on site and prepare quality reports, defects, if any12. To check the stacking and storage of materials in various godowns and stores of the site with13. neatness14. To coordinate testing of materials wherever applicable and ensure specified quality standards are adhered to15. To coordinate with different contractors, agencies to maintain and improve quality of construction work16. To prepare MIS on monthly basis, monthly consumption reports, daily progress report, etc
