General administrative support: Handling administrative tasks like filing, answering phones, processing mail, and other support functions for the accounting department.Communicating with vendors and clients: Addressing billing inquiries, following up on overdue payments, and building positive relationships with external partners.Recording financial transactions: Accurately inputting sales, purchases, receipts, payments, and other business activities into accounting software or ledgers.Data entry: Inputting financial information into accounting software and databases.Preparing and maintaining accounting files: Organizing and storing both digital and physical financial records.Reconciling accounts: Comparing financial records to bank statements and other sources to identify and resolve discrepancies.
