Job descriptionTELECOM FIELD ENGINEER (Male Candidates Preferred)Job Title: Telecom Tower EngineerLocation: Palakkad, ThrissurJob Type: Full time (Remote)Salary: 15000/- (PF, ESIC, LWF, All other benefits)Job Summary:A Telecom Tower Engineer is responsible for the installation, maintenance, and repair of telecommunications infrastructure, including cell towers, antennas, and radio equipment. This role involves working at heights, troubleshooting technical issues, and ensuring the efficient operation of wireless communication networks.Key Responsibilities:Installation & Maintenance:Install, upgrade, and maintain telecom tower equipment such as antennas, transmitters, and receivers.Safety & Compliance:Follow all safety procedures and industry regulations when working at heights, Ensure compliance with local, state, and federal telecommunications regulations, conduct risk assessments and use proper climbing gear and safety equipment.Testing & TroubleshootingPerform signal testing, frequency tuning, and connectivity checks.Diagnose network or equipment failures and take corrective action.Work with engineers to optimize network performance.Documentation & ReportingCollaboration & SupportWork closely with field teams, technicians, and network engineers.Train junior engineers and technicians as needed.Support emergency repairs and troubleshooting when network outages occur.Required Skills & Qualifications:Bachelors degree or diploma in Telecommunications, Electrical Engineering, or a related field.Valid drivers license and willingness to travel.Physical fitness and ability to work at heights in varying weather conditions.Work Environment:Outdoor fieldwork, often in remote locations.Frequent travel and working at heights.Exposure to extreme weather conditions.Job Types: Full-time, FresherPay: 12,000.00 - 15,000.00 per monthBenefits:Health insurancePaid sick timePaid time offProvident Fund
