The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in helping students and parents understand the value of entrepreneurship education, addressing their concerns, and ensuring a seamless enrollment experience. This role involves student counselling, lead management, program promotion, and career guidance.Key Responsibilities Student & Parent Counselling Engage with students and parents to provide in-depth information about the Entrepreneurship Program, curriculum, career pathways, and startup incubation opportunities. Address concerns regarding entrepreneurial career prospects, financial feasibility, and program outcomes. Conduct one-on-one counselling sessions (in-person and virtual) to help students and parents make informed decisions. Admissions & Lead Management Handle incoming student inquiries, follow up on leads, and convert prospects into confirmed enrollments. Guide students and parents through the admissions process, including documentation, eligibility criteria, and financial aid options. Maintain accurate records of interactions and applications using CRM tools. Program Awareness & Promotion Conduct webinars, info sessions, and open house events to educate students and parents about the program. Collaborate with digital marketing and outreach teams to attract students from diverse backgrounds. Establish strong relationships with schools, colleges, and coaching centers to promote entrepreneurship education. Startup Ecosystem Engagement Help students and parents understand the support structure of the program, including mentorship, investor access, incubation, and networking opportunities. Connect students with industry experts, startup founders, and alumni to provide real-world insights. Follow-ups & Relationship Building Maintain continuous engagement with enrolled students and their parents to ensure high satisfaction and retention. Address post-admission concerns and provide support throughout the program.Qualifications & Skills Required Bachelors or Masters degree in Business, Marketing, Psychology, Education, or a related field. 2+ years of experience in academic counselling, career guidance, or student admissions, preferably in entrepreneurship or business programs. Strong understanding of entrepreneurship, startup ecosystems, and career opportunities in business and innovation. Excellent communication skills with the ability to engage with both students and parents effectively. Empathy and patience in addressing parental concerns regarding unconventional career paths. Proficiency in CRM tools, MS Office, and student engagement platforms. Helping students to prepare for admissions applications and tests. Providing students with materials related to a career of their choice or career counseling to suit their skills. Developing, monitoring, and assisting with counseling programs. Offering referrals to outside resources, such as for mental health, substance abuse, or vocational-related activities. Reporting student issues to the appropriate state authorities if neglect or abuse is suspected.Requirements: Bachelor's or associate's degree in counseling/ related programs. Minimum of 1 year of experience professional counseling experience, preferably in an educational field, freshers are also welcome to apply for the position. Knowledge of placement testing and career, personal, and educational assessment. Experience with counseling principles, techniques, and practices as applied to students' problems and developmental needs. Excellent active listening and communication skills. This is a remote consultant role for online consultation with clients based on appointments. Professional Psychology degree with prior experience in counselling field is mandatory.
