Dual role in hospital and instituteJob Title: Nursing InstructorJob Summary:The Nursing Instructor is responsible for providing high-quality theoretical and clinical education to nursing students. The role involves planning and delivering lectures, supervising clinical practice, evaluating student performance, and promoting professional development in accordance with the curriculum and institutional policies.Key Responsibilities:Plan, prepare, and deliver classroom lectures and clinical teaching sessions.Demonstrate nursing procedures and supervise students during clinical postings.Develop lesson plans, teaching materials, and assessment tools.Evaluate students through examinations, assignments, practical assessments, and clinical observations.Provide academic guidance, mentoring, and counseling to students.Maintain accurate records of attendance, grades, and student progress.Participate in curriculum development, research, workshops, seminars, and faculty development programs.Ensure compliance with institutional policies and nursing council regulations.Collaborate with healthcare facilities to coordinate clinical training.Promote ethical practice, patient safety, and evidence-based nursing care.Qualifications:degree in Nursing (b.Sc. Nursing) from a recognized institution.Valid registration as a Registered Nurse and Registered Midwife with the appropriate Nursing Council.Teaching and clinical experience as required by the institution or regulatory authority.Strong communication, teaching, leadership, and interpersonal skills.Skills and Competencies:Excellent teaching and presentation skills.Clinical expertise and critical thinking.Classroom and clinical supervision abilities.Strong organizational and time management skills.Proficiency in computer applications and educational technology.Commitment to continuous professional development.Work Environment: The Nursing Instructor works in classrooms, simulation laboratories, nursing skills labs, hospitals, and community healthcare settings.
