Job Purpose:To provide expert-level testing, commissioning, maintenance, and service support for transformers, ensuring optimal performance and compliance with industry standards.Key Responsibilities:Testing & Diagnostics:Conduct electrical tests such as insulation resistance, winding resistance, transformer turns ratio (TTR), and vector group tests.Perform advanced diagnostic tests, including Tan Delta, Partial Discharge (PD), and Sweep Frequency Response Analysis (SFRA).Analyze test results and provide recommendations for corrective actions.Commissioning:Supervise the installation and commissioning of transformers at project sites.Execute functional and performance tests in compliance with IEC and IEEE standards.Ensure seamless integration of transformers into the power grid.Service & Maintenance:Perform on-site troubleshooting and fault diagnosis for transformers.Undertake repairs, retrofitting, and preventive maintenance activities.Replace defective components and ensure restored operational efficiency.Technical Documentation:Prepare test reports, commissioning logs, and service records.Maintain documentation for regulatory compliance and client reference.Client Support:Provide technical support to clients during and post-project implementation.Train client teams on proper operation and maintenance of transformers.Safety & Compliance:Adhere to safety protocols and quality assurance standards during testing and commissioning.Conduct risk assessments and ensure workplace safety.Key Skills:Expertise in transformer testing, commissioning, and servicing processes.Proficiency in handling equipment like TTR meters, SFRA analyzers, and Tan Delta testers.Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.In-depth knowledge of industry standards such as IEC 60076 and IEEE C57.

Job Location: Ambattur, Chennai.Roles & Responsibilities: Assign roles and responsibilities for field activities in accordance with Project Execution Plan Able to guide the team members for safe and productive erection methodology. Participates actively in creating a safety culture at the Jobsite and in the office Update the Marketing In charge in accordance with the Project Execution Plan relates to Cost, Schedules and Client management Manages the execution of the Commissioning and closeout processes and Complete handover of the site Functions as the primary interface with clients during a project, obtains client feedback and maintains client relationships Inter-department Co-ordination such as Engineering/ competence team etc., Attending project review meeting with client/Marketing Team In-house factory inspection before dispatch Update the project schedule, generate the reports to clients ,provide review reports and meeting to the Marketing TeamExperience:Minimum 5 years of experience in Erection and Commissioning engineer works or in related fields

Erection and commissioning at site, Testing material as per technical parameters. If any deviation, report to management. Report to Project Coordinator and Management and other works

Good knowledge of Erection and commissioning work/pluming and electrical work.
