We are seeking an Emergency Physician for our facility in Ludhiana, Punjab India. This role is suitable for both recent graduates and those with up to six years of experience in emergency medicine.As an Emergency Physician, you will be responsible for assessing and treating patients who require immediate medical attention. You will provide critical care, manage acute illnesses, and engage in life-saving procedures.Key Responsibilities include:- **Patient Assessment**: Utilize diagnostic skills to evaluate patients conditions rapidly upon arrival and determine the urgency of care required.- **Emergency Treatment**: Administer treatments, medications, and interventions to stabilize patients with various medical emergencies, such as trauma, heart attack, or respiratory distress.- **Collaboration**: Work closely with nurses, specialists, and other healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive patient care and effective communication throughout the treatment process.- **Documentation**: Maintain accurate and timely medical records of patient encounters, treatments administered, and ongoing care plans to uphold the standard of care.Required skills and expectations for this position include:- A medical degree and post-graduate training in emergency medicine.- Strong decision-making abilities and critical thinking skills under pressure.- Excellent communication skills to effectively interact with patients, families, and healthcare teams.- The ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining composure during emergencies.- A commitment to delivering high-quality patient care with compassion and professionalism. Assess patients that enter the emergency room immediately and oversee emergency patients recovery. Conduct follow-up visits to monitor the patients condition. Request the appropriate medical tests and based on them, follow a treatment plan. Develop effective patient care plans. Refer patients to the appropriate specialists. Ensure that patients are stable before transferring them to the proper department for further evaluation. Provide instructions for discharge and any relevant paperwork. Maintain the patients medical records. Coordinate with different ER departments to ensure patients receive the necessary treatment.
