We are seeking a dedicated ITI Electrician to join our team at Banaras Hindu University, Varanasi. This is an entry-level position suitable for recent graduates looking to start their career in electrical maintenance and installation work.Key Responsibilities:- **Electrical Installation**: Assist in the installation of electrical systems and equipment according to specifications, ensuring all work complies with safety standards.- **Maintenance and Repairs**: Conduct regular maintenance checks and repairs on electrical systems, identifying and resolving any malfunctions promptly to maintain operational efficiency.- **System Troubleshooting**: Diagnose electrical issues effectively and carry out necessary repairs, using electrical testing tools and equipment.- **Documentation and Reporting**: Maintain accurate records of maintenance and repair work conducted, reporting any significant issues or required updates to senior staff.Required Skills and Expectations:Candidates should have completed an ITI in electrical trade, with knowledge of basic electrical principles and practices. Attention to detail and the ability to follow safety regulations are essential. Strong problem-solving skills are needed to effectively troubleshoot and resolve electrical issues. Execute plans of electrical wiring for well functioning lighting, intercom and other electrical systemsInstall electrical apparatus, fixtures and equipment for alarm and other systemsInstall safety and distribution components (e.g. switches, resistors, circuit-breaker panels etc.)Connect wiring in electrical circuits and networks ensuring compatibility of componentsPrepare and assemble conduits and connect wiring through themPrevent breakdown of systems by routinely inspecting and replacing old wiring and insulated cables, cleaning circuits etc.Perform effective troubleshooting to identify hazards or malfunctions and repair or substitute damaged units
