We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Site Engineer (Electrical) to oversee the installation, operation, and maintenance of electrical systems for solar power projects. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in electrical engineering, solar PV systems, and site management, ensuring that projects are completed safely, on time, and within budget.Key ResponsibilitiesInstallation and Commissioning:oOversee the installation of electrical components for solar PV systems, including inverters, transformers, and wiring.oEnsure all installations comply with electrical codes, standards, and project specifications.oCommission and test electrical systems to verify performance and safety.Site Management:oSupervise site activities and manage on-site teams, including electricians and subcontractors.oEnsure adherence to project schedules, quality standards, and safety protocols.oCoordinate with other site engineers, project managers, and stakeholders to resolve issues and ensure smooth project execution.Technical Support:oProvide technical guidance and support to installation teams.oTroubleshoot and resolve electrical issues during construction and operation phases.oConduct regular inspections and maintenance of electrical systems.Documentation and Reporting:oMaintain accurate records of electrical installations, tests, and inspections.oPrepare and submit daily, weekly, and monthly progress reports to project management.oEnsure all documentation is up-to-date and complies with regulatory requirements.Health and Safety:oImplement and enforce health and safety protocols on-site.oConduct safety training and briefings for site personnel.oInvestigate and report any safety incidents or near misses.QualificationsEducation:oBachelors degree in Electrical Engineering or a related field.oProfessional Engineer (PE) license or equivalent certification is a plus.Experience:

Strong grasp of electrical layout drawings, cable sizing, panel installations, and power distributionHands-on experience in site supervision of electrical works in industrial/commercial buildingsKnowledge of load calculations, lighting & grounding systemsExperience in coordinating with utility companies, contractors, and OEMsFamiliarity with HT/LT systems, transformers, DG sets, and UPS systemsWorking knowledge of IS codes, IE rules, and safety regulationsCommon Qualifications:E./Diploma in Electrical / Mechanical EngineeringProficiency in AutoCAD, MS Project / Excel-based reportingStrong coordination and problem-solving skills

QUALIFICATION: Bachelors in Electricals or Diploma/Equivalent. AGE BRACKET: Upto the age of 35 Years.EXPERTISE: Experience1. Experience of execution/Personal involvement in Electrical Works.2. PAN INDIA Exposure is Optional but should be ready to take the challenge.3. Exposure of working with MNC/Corporates is optional, however this will be add-on to his selection criteria in case if he possess.4. Minimum 5 Lacs to 10 Lacs Sq. They also provide technical advice to subcontractors, supervise staff on site, and ensure that their timelines are met as per Client requirement. Should be able to Estimate the Project cost and also able to handle site billings independently. Work as per BOQ specifications. Projects are based in Delhi NCR and also in North India.
