Job Title: Commissioning Engineer Effluent Treatment Plant (ETP)Department: Operations & MaintenanceLocation: Anywhere in India Job Purpose:To ensure smooth commissioning, operation, and maintenance of Effluent Treatment Plants (ETPs), ensuring treated water meets environmental standards. The role involves on-site coordination, chemical handling, troubleshooting, and client interaction for successful handover and continued performance.Key Responsibilities:1.. Commissioning Activities:Conduct pre-commissioning checks, flushing, testing, and trial runs.Execute system start-up, monitor parameters, and stabilize operations.2. Operational Management:Operate the plant as per standard procedures and ensure compliance with environmental norms.Record daily operational parameters like flow, pH, COD, BOD, TSS, etc.Maintain chemical dosing systems and ensure chemical stock levels.3. Maintenance & Troubleshooting:Perform preventive and breakdown maintenance of mechanical/electrical/chemical systems.Identify and resolve operational issues and report major faults.Key Skills Required:Knowledge of wastewater treatment processes (physical, chemical, biological).Familiarity with lab instruments and chemical analysis techniques.Hands-on experience in ETP start-up, troubleshooting, and O&M.Qualifications:Education: Diploma / B.Sc / M.Sc in Chemistry / Environmental Science / Industrial Chemistry / Chemical Engineering or related field.

Adequate training and product knowledge will be given. Seniors will support him wherever required. He will have to travel as per work requirements. B.E Civil/Mechanical/Environmental Engineer with exp in related field . Design, Process and cost estimation of WTP/ETP/STP Projects and components . Vendor development and coordination. prepare techno-commercial proposal of offered system. Auto cad knowledge will be preferred.
