This entry-level position is ideal for individuals looking to start a career in carpentry and construction.As an Assistant Carpenter, your main responsibilities will include assisting skilled carpenters in daily tasks, learning about different carpentry methods, and maintaining tools and work areas.Key Responsibilities:1. Assist Skilled Carpenters: Work alongside experienced carpenters to help with cutting, shaping, and installing materials like wood, plastic, and laminate.2. Prepare Work Areas: Help in setting up and cleaning work sites to ensure a safe and organized environment for the team.3. Handle Tools and Materials: Learn to use various carpentry tools safely and effectively while keeping them in good condition.4. Measure and Cut Materials: Support in measuring and cutting wood and other materials as directed, ensuring accuracy and precision in measurements.5. Follow Safety Protocols: Adhere to safety guidelines at all times to prevent accidents and injuries.To be successful in this role, you should have a willingness to learn and follow instructions. Basic knowledge of carpentry tools and materials is a plus but not required. Good physical fitness and the ability to work as part of a team are essential. Job Responsibilities:Operate and maintain tool room machinery with a strong focus on grinding machines (surface, cylindrical, and tool & cutter grinding).Carry out precision machining for tools, dies, jigs, and fixtures as per design and production requirements.Read and interpret engineering drawings, blueprints, and job orders to determine machining requirements.Ensure proper tool setting, alignment, and inspection before starting operations.Perform preventive maintenance and minor troubleshooting of grinding machines.Maintain tool quality standards by ensuring dimensional accuracy and surface finish.Handle measuring instruments (Vernier, Micrometre, Height Gauge, Profile Projector, etc.) for inspection of tools.Ensure adherence to safety and quality standards in tool room operations.Support production teams by supplying accurate and timely tools for manufacturing.Maintain records of tool usage, maintenance, and inventory.Candidate Requirements:ITI / Diploma in Tool & Die Making / Mechanical or equivalent qualification.Minimum 2 years of hands-on experience in tool room operations, specifically with grinding machines.Strong knowledge of cutting tools, jigs, dies, and fixtures.Ability to work independently with high precision and attention to detail.Familiarity with CNC / conventional machines will be an added advantage.Good problem-solving skills and ability to meet deadline

Production line I utilize my knowledge with the CNC machine like VMC, CNC & Sarface Grinding Machine.Responsible for daily machining, SPC control, maintain 5S in M/C shop, kaizen, Inspection ofcomponent and taking immediately action for any correction Rework.Calculate machine speed and feed ratios and size and positions of cuts.
