Responsibilities: -Create relevant and engaging content based on topics as assigned-Actively seek out, interview/research and document Natya experiences in the global community-Work with Editor to generate ideas for new content topics-Meet submission deadlines-Collect and work with media (e.g., photos, illustrations, videos etc.) to accompany copy as necessaryQualifications/Requirements: - Develop or already have an understanding of Classical Indian Art and particularly Dance Forms. Any experience with Classical Arts, Yoga and/or other Eastern traditional arts and sciences are definite assets-Must be able to think outside of the box and not simply replicate the same old-Strong writing skills and ability to communicate through imagery-Excellent people skills-Must be able to write short, concise, catchy pieces which will be accompanied by illustrations, photographs and/or video footage-Excellent interview skills-3+ years of experience writing, with focus preferably in the arts-Have an understanding of SEO and social media as well as writing for digital media.-Ability to meet regular deadlines while working independentlyLocation :May be based anywhere in India, preferrably in South India.Perks:-We are primarily a virtual organization.
