Job OverviewAn Air Hostess, also known as Cabin Crew or Flight Attendant, is responsible for ensuring the safety, comfort, and well-being of passengers during flights while delivering high-quality customer service and representing the airlines brand.Roles & ResponsibilitiesGreet passengers warmly and assist with boarding and seatingPerform pre-flight cabin and safety equipment checksExplain and demonstrate aircraft safety proceduresEnsure passengers follow aviation safety regulationsServe meals, beverages, and in-flight amenitiesAttend to special passenger needs (children, elderly, medical cases)Handle passenger concerns, complaints, and emergencies calmlyProvide first aid and emergency assistance when requiredMaintain cleanliness and order in the cabinCoordinate with cockpit crew and fellow cabin staffEnsure safe landing procedures and assist with disembarkationEligibility & RequirementsMinimum qualification: 10+2 (any stream)Age limit: Usually 1827 years (varies by airline)Minimum height & arm reach as per airline standardsGood eyesight (correctable vision accepted by most airlines)Fluent in English & Hindi (additional languages preferred)Well-groomed with a pleasant personalityKey Skills RequiredExcellent communication and interpersonal skillsStrong customer service and problem-solving abilitiesAbility to remain calm under pressureTeamwork and adaptabilityProfessional grooming and etiquetteWork ConditionsRotational shifts including nights, weekends, and holidaysDomestic and international travelPhysically demanding but rewarding work environment
