This role involves handling the delivery of packages to various locations efficiently and responsibly.Key Responsibilities:- Package Delivery: Ensure timely and secure delivery of packages to customers at specified locations, following assigned routes.- Customer Interaction: Communicate effectively with customers during deliveries to provide updates and resolve any inquiries or issues.- Vehicle Maintenance: Maintain the delivery vehicle in good condition, ensuring it is clean and functioning properly to avoid disruptions.- Record Keeping: Accurately log delivery details, including package conditions and any discrepancies, to ensure proper tracking and accountability.- Safety Compliance: Adhere to all safety protocols while delivering packages, ensuring both personal and public safety during transportation.Required Skills and Expectations:- Candidates should have completed at least the 10th grade.- A maximum of 1 year of experience in a similar role is preferred but not mandatory, as freshers are welcome to apply.- Good physical fitness is essential, as the job may involve lifting and carrying packages.- Strong communication skills are necessary to interact with customers and understand delivery instructions clearly.- Must be punctual and reliable, demonstrating a strong sense of responsibility toward delivering packages on time.- A valid drivers license is preferred, and familiarity with local routes would be an advantage.
