Job SummaryThe Electrical Engineer is responsible for designing, developing, installing, testing, and maintaining electrical systems and equipment to ensure safe, reliable, and efficient operations. The role involves planning and executing electrical projects, troubleshooting technical issues, adhering to industry standards, and coordinating with cross-functional teams to support organizational requirements. Key Responsibilities1. Design & DevelopmentDesign electrical circuits, systems, panels, and components aligned with project requirements.Prepare electrical drawings, schematics, single-line diagrams (SLD), and technical specifications.Conduct feasibility studies and electrical load calculations for projects.Develop cost estimates, project proposals, and equipment selection reports.2. Installation, Testing & CommissioningSupervise installation, testing, and commissioning of electrical systems and equipment.Ensure correct functioning of power distribution, lighting, control systems, and machinery.Perform functional tests, measurement, calibration, and performance validation.3. Maintenance & TroubleshootingConduct preventive and corrective maintenance to minimize downtime and ensure continuity.Diagnose electrical faults and ensure timely resolution adhering to safety standards.Monitor equipment performance and implement improvement measures for system efficiency.4. Safety & ComplianceEnsure compliance with industry standards (IEC/IEEE/NEC/IS) and electrical safety regulations.Conduct risk assessments, safety audits, and ensure safe working practices.Prepare documentation for inspections, permits, and regulatory approvals.5.
