1. Appoint Distributors, Dealers & Maintain consistent contact and provide sales and service to all (retailers and distributors) in his specific assigned Region.2. Ensure optimum utilisation of resources in his area of responsibility particularly sales/promotional budget.3. Assist ASM with promotional ideas to increase business within the region.4. Achieve sales revenue numbers, budget and profit goals for your assigned Region.5. Assist in managing monthly/quarterly/annual sales budgets and objectives within your Region.6. Understand and utilise syndicated data to identify sales opportunities and develop sales presentations for assigned Region.7. Provide feedback to management from key retail and distributor customers.8. Make regularly scheduled sales calls on all major customers within your region.9. Regular communications of sales calls and results to ASM.10. Provide monthly sales reports, monthly expenses reports and any assigned reports to Area Sales Manager in a timely manner.11. Regular contact with retailers and distributors to ensure seamless continuity of efforts.12. Execute the sales volume numbers, trade spending objectives and any other goals given by ASM Specific Interaction with marketing, i.e. Sales Support materials, etc.13. Identify and track all industry trends and issues, i.e. natural and retail growth, distributor changes, opportunities, segment variations, etc.14. Recommend an expedient/appropriate action plan to the Area Sales Manager.15. Implement all tracking/reporting tools, in conjunction with Finance, Customer service, etc.16. Assist in managing your Regional budget by SKU and trade spending for all brands.17. Track and report all competitive activities.18. Sales Officer is someone who is responsible for the overall sales performance with achieving given sales target successfully by month to month at assigned area.19.
