This involves button pushing but also listening for unusual sounds that might indicate a tool is breaking.Quality Inspection: Using precision instruments like Vernier Calipers, Micrometers, and Bore Gauges to ensure every part matches the engineering drawing.Minor Programming: Making small edits to the program (like adjusting speeds or feeds) to improve the quality or speed of production.Maintenance: Daily cleaning of the machine, checking coolant levels, and lubricating moving parts.2. Required Skills & QualificationsEducation: Typically an ITI (Machinist, Turner, or Fitter) or a Diploma in Mechanical Engineering.Technical Knowledge:Ability to read 2D Engineering Drawings and understand GD&T (Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing).Familiarity with machine controls like Fanuc, Siemens, or Mazak.Basic understanding of G-codes (geometry) and M-codes (machine functions).Physical Stamina: The ability to stand for long shifts (812 hours) and handle heavy metal workpieces.
