Role DescriptionThis is a full-time on-site role for a CNC VMC Operator cum Setter. The role involves day-to-day tasks such as machine operation, quality control, machining, milling, and overseeing machinery operations to ensure production efficiency and quality output.Qualifications Machine Operation, Machining, and Milling skills Quality Control expertise Experience in operating and setting CNC VMC machines Knowledge of machinery operations Ability to read and interpret technical drawings Strong attention to detail and quality standards Previous experience in a similar manufacturing setting Technical certification or diploma in machining or related field

- Experience of managing machining shop with 20+ CNC, VMC, Grinding machines- Should be able to manage New Product Development with optimum cost, quality and process parameters- Optimise manufacturing processes and cost- Experience in QMS and SCM- Thorough understanding of quality standard IATF 16949- Interact with the customers and key suppliers- Plan and control production activities based on the manufacturing schedules- Do root cause analysis of any rejection to correct the process and prevent any future rejections- Work with quality assurance and Production heads for improving quality and productivity- Manage new product developmentQualifications & Experience:- Engineering degree / diploma holder of Mechanical Engineering- Relevant experience of 15-20 years in engineering machining shopSkills and Abilities- Good people management skills- Good knowledge of MS suites and ERP system- Good written and verbal communication skills- Quick learner with the ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously- Strong sense of time organization and urgency- Decision making- Able to work with the superiors, subordinates as well as independently
