The ideal candidate will manage the financial aspects of mechanical, electrical, and plumbing projects, ensuring accuracy and efficiency.**VISIT BHADANIS GULF MEP & CIVIL QUANTITY SURVEYING WEBSITE**Key Responsibilities:**VISIT BHADANIS GULF MEP & CIVIL QUANTITY SURVEYING WEBSITE** BHADANIS GULF QUANTITY SURVEYING ONLINE TRAINING FOR CIVIL & MEP ENGINEERS , QUANTITY SURVEYORS MEP ENGINEERS , INTERIOR FITOUT ESTIMATION OIL AND GAS 1. **Cost Estimation**: Prepare detailed cost estimates for MEP projects, analyzing project requirements and specifications to present accurate forecasts.2. **Tender Management**: Assist in the preparation of tender documentation and evaluate received bids to ensure compliance and competitiveness.3. **Contract Administration**: Review contracts and ensure compliance with all project specifications, while managing any changes in scope that may affect the budget or timeline.4. **Site Measurements**: Conduct regular site visits to take measurements, assess progress, and verify the accuracy of installed systems against project specifications.5. **Budget Tracking**: Monitor project budgets and financial performance, reporting on variances and recommending corrective actions when necessary.6. **Collaboration**: Work closely with project managers, engineers, and other stakeholders to ensure seamless project execution and adherence to deadlines.Required Skills and Expectations:Candidates should possess a degree in engineering or a related field, with 2 to 8 years of relevant experience. Strong analytical skills and proficiency in quantity surveying software are essential. Excellent communication and teamwork abilities are crucial, along with a deep understanding of MEP systems and construction processes. Job descriptionRoles and ResponsibilitiesWe are seeking an experienced quantity surveyor / billing engineer (civil) to be part of our Project Management team.Candidate should have a minimum of 7 to 8 years of quantity surveying experience in civil contracting (construction company).Should have a thorough theoretical and practical/field knowledge of civil construction activities like RCC work, building work, structural steel work, architectural and finishing items.Should be able to work with various design disciplines like structural engineers, architects, etc. and should be able to independently prepare an accurate quantity takeoff (BOQ bill of quantities). Quantity take-off must be supported by measurement sheets and hand sketches.Should be proficient in spreadsheet / Microsoft excel functions. Should have a good proficiency in reviewing and taking measurements/dimensions from AutoCAD drawing files.Should be able to prepare rate analysis for civil construction.Should be experienced in preparing, checking and certifying civil construction running and final bills.Should be experienced with reconciliation of cement, steel and other free supply material.Should be able to take off accurate quantities from construction / GFC drawings.Should have strong knowledge of various thumb rules and ratios for civil construction items such as cement consumption, reinforcement consumption, etc.Having resourcefulness and contacts with suppliers, vendors and contractors of various civil construction trade items will be of an added advantage.Should be highly meticulous and thorough in his/her work.
