The candidate will be responsible for promoting pharmaceutical products, generating prescriptions, developing strong relationships with doctors and healthcare professionals, managing the assigned territory, and achieving sales targets.Key ResponsibilitiesPromote and detail pharmaceutical/healthcare products to doctors, specialists, hospitals, clinics and pharmacists.Conduct regular field visits and maintain effective coverage of the assigned territory.Build and maintain strong professional relationships with doctors, pharmacists, hospitals, stockists and distributors.Achieve monthly, quarterly and annual sales and prescription-generation targets.Conduct product detailing and communicate product benefits, indications and relevant scientific information.Monitor product availability at pharmacies, distributors and hospital counters.Conduct RCPA/market analysis and track competitor products, pricing and promotional activities.Identify new business opportunities and expand the customer base within the territory.Organize and participate in CMEs, doctor meetings, conferences and promotional activities.Support new product launches and execute company marketing strategies.Maintain accurate doctor/customer databases, daily call reports and sales MIS.Provide regular market intelligence and customer feedback to the Area Sales Manager.Coordinate with distributors and internal teams to ensure product availability and smooth order fulfilment. Current Bengaluru MR roles commonly include doctor calls, prescription generation, RCPA, product detailing, distributor coordination and territory sales.Candidate Requirements5+ years of experience in pharmaceutical sales, medical sales or healthcare sales.B.Pharm, D.Pharm, B.Sc., M.Sc., Life Sciences or related qualification preferred.Strong knowledge of pharmaceutical products and relevant therapeutic areas.Existing relationships/network with doctors, hospitals, clinics and pharmacies in Bengaluru preferred.Proven track record of achieving sales targets.Willingness to travel extensively within the assigned territory.Valid two-wheeler and driving licence preferred/required for field-based roles.Kannada and English communication skills preferred for Bengaluru territory roles.
