We are looking for an Interventional Cardiologist to join our medical team in Namakkal. This full-time position is ideal for candidates with up to 6 years of experience and a Doctorate of Medicine (DM).**Key Responsibilities:**- **Perform Diagnostic and Interventional Procedures:** Conduct tests and procedures, such as angioplasties, to diagnose and treat heart conditions in patients.- **Patient Assessment:** Evaluate patients by reviewing medical histories, performing physical exams, and ordering necessary diagnostic tests to understand their heart health.- **Develop Treatment Plans:** Create individualized care plans that may include medications, lifestyle changes, and surgical options based on the patient's specific needs.- **Collaborate with Healthcare Team:** Work alongside other medical professionals, including nurses and general practitioners, to ensure comprehensive patient care and to improve treatment outcomes.- **Educate Patients and Families:** Provide information about heart health, the significance of procedures, and post-treatment care to help patients understand their conditions and treatment options.**Required Skills and Expectations:**The ideal candidate must possess strong clinical skills in cardiology and interventional techniques. Effective communication skills are essential for explaining complex medical information to patients and collaborating with colleagues. Consulting with patients to understand their symptoms and health concerns.Prescribing tests, treatments, and/or surgery, when necessary.Maintaining detailed notes of appointments with patients, including comments, tests and/or treatments prescribed, and test results.Performing tests, when needed, to check the health of patients' hearts and/or cardiovascular systems.Interpreting test results to determine how effectively the heart and/or cardiovascular system is functioning.Using medical imaging equipment, such as CT and MRI scanners, to diagnose and treat heart and/or cardiovascular conditions.Assisting and/or performing surgery which may include complex surgical interventions that require a team of medical professionals.
