This role includes performing site evaluations, gathering technical data, identifying installation challenges, and providing the sales and engineering teams with essential information to design solar systems that align with customer needs and site conditions.Key Responsibilities:Site Assessment and Data CollectionVisit customer sites to assess solar potential, including roof or ground conditions, shading, and structural integrity.Use tools and technology (e.g., Solar Pathfinder, shading analysis software) to collect precise data on sun exposure, shading, and roof orientation.Document measurements, potential obstructions, and environmental factors.Customer Interaction and Relationship BuildingExplain the site assessment process to customers and answer questions about the solar installation process, benefits, and potential savings.Build rapport with customers, providing a positive experience that aligns with the companys customer service standards.Communicate effectively to manage expectations and gather additional insights about customer needs.Technical Evaluation and ReportingProvide accurate measurements and data for the engineering team to design solar systems.Identify site-specific challenges (e.g., obstructions, shading) and work with the design team to propose feasible solutions.Create clear and comprehensive reports on the findings of each visit, ensuring all required data is complete.Collaboration with Sales and Engineering TeamsCommunicate findings from site visits to sales and engineering teams.
