Job Overview: We are looking for a dedicated Infrastructure Engineer - Systems Engineer with strong expertise in Automation, VMware technologies, and backup solutions. This role will focus on the optimization of virtualized systems, infrastructure automation, identity, containerization, cloud migrations and ensuring data integrity through advanced backup and disaster recovery tools. As an integral part of our IT team, you will Design, implement, and manage VMware vSphere Suite, Ansible, Unix Systems and Backup sulutions to support mission-critical infrastructure design and build projects. Key Responsibilities: Virtualization: Build and configuration of vRealize Automation, VMware NSX and VMware vSphere environments, ensuring high availability and performance. Must have prior experience on vRealize Automation Backup & Recovery: NetBackup and Cohesity Backup system build and configuration, ensuring data integrity and disaster recovery readiness. Must have experience on Cohesity Backup Solutions. Automation: Automate system tasks and VM provisioning using Ansible, VMware vRealize Automation Configuration Management: Automate configuration management using VMware Saltstack Security: Implement security best practices, including system patches and user access management. Documentation : Maintain up-to-date documentation on system configurations, backup processes, and disaster recovery procedures. Solid understanding of network protocols (TCP/IP, DNS, HTTP/HTTPS, VPN, DHCP). Experience with cloud computing platforms such as AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud. Experience in on-premises to Cloud Migration and landing zone creation. Required Skills & Qualifications: 5+ years of systems engineer experience. Expertise in VMware vSphere, vRealize Automation. Experience with NetBackup , Cohesity Backup or similar backup solutions. Proficiency in Windows Server and Linux/Unix systems. Strong scripting skills in PowerShell, Yaml, or Python.

To design, test and develop new features from internal and external customer requests Improve and maintain internal and external software systems for data analysis, website delivery, data transfer and big data analytics framework Participate in code review of own and other developer's code in accordance with code review guidelines. Manage own workload of jobs as tasked by the R&D Manager and Software Developer Team Leader using JIRA task management tools. Identify and propose process and system improvements. Apply agile software development and test driven development methods to software development activities. Configure and maintain software / system deployment scripts.
