A cabin crew (or flight attendant) job focuses on ensuring passenger safety, comfort, and satisfaction on commercial flights, handling everything from pre-flight checks and safety briefings to serving meals, assisting with luggage, and managing emergencies like turbulence or medical issues, acting as the airline's primary point of contact to make the journey smooth and pleasant. Key Responsibilities:*Safety & Security: Conducting safety equipment checks, performing pre-flight safety demonstrations, enforcing regulations, and managing emergencies (medical, security, evacuations).* Customer Service: Welcoming passengers, helping with seating/luggage, serving food/drinks, selling duty-free items, making announcements, and addressing passenger needs.* Pre-Flight: Checking safety gear, ensuring cabin readiness, briefing on procedures.* In-Flight: Monitoring the cabin, providing assistance, handling issues calmly, first aid.* Post-Flight: Assisting with disembarkation, ensuring the cabin is tidy. Key responsibilities:1. Operate flight controls and systems: Responsible for operating and controlling the various flight controls and systems of the aircraft during flights to ensure safe and efficient operation.2. Monitor aircraft instruments: Continuously monitor and interpret the readings on the aircraft's instruments to maintain situational awareness and make necessary adjustments during the flight.3. Communicate with air traffic control: Maintain clear and effective communication with air traffic control to receive instructions, updates, and other important information during the flight.4. Ensure compliance with regulations: Adhere to all aviation regulations, safety protocols, and company policies to ensure a safe and compliant operation at all times.5. Perform pre-flight and post-flight checks: Conduct thorough pre-flight inspections and post-flight checks to ensure the aircraft is in proper working condition before and after each flight.Required skills and expectations:1. Must have a 12th pass qualification with a basic understanding of aviation principles and regulations.2. Strong communication skills to effectively communicate with air traffic control and other team members.3. Attention to detail and ability to monitor and interpret aircraft instruments accurately.4. Ability to remain calm under pressure and make quick decisions in high-stress situations.5. Basic knowledge of aircraft controls and systems to operate them efficiently.
