Responsibilities for this position include:Work with Product Development Engineers to achieve the design results desired and the highest quality product possible within target costs for brandResponsible for administration and follow-up of the product design process including preparation of technical packages and presentation boards, understanding of the PDM process, email correspondenceCommunicate with the Director of Design to interpret and execute the design and brand strategy for all categories of businessPrepare and/or finalize technical drawings of the proposed product to be used for productionCollaborate with the Product Development team on the launch productDeliver design sketches/prototypes and provide specificationsAdapt designs based on feedback, incorporating them for finalizationAide in organizational tasks and general day-to-dayProviding renderings and drawingsDesigning high-end / statement jewelryDesired experience as a Jewellery designer includes:Knowledgeable about design and production practicesOrganized, innovative, and creativeProficiency in Photoshop and Illustrator software1+ years of experience including retail, catalog, or e-commerce buyingExcellent listening, written, and oral communication skills influenceExperience buying for online retail a plus
