As an Anaesthesia Technician, you will play a vital role in supporting the anaesthesia department in various healthcare settings. Your responsibilities will include:- Maintaining Anaesthesia Equipment: You will ensure that all anaesthesia machines and tools are functioning properly and are well-maintained. This includes cleaning and checking equipment before use.- Assisting in Anaesthesia Administration: You will work closely with anaesthetists during surgeries, helping in the preparation and monitoring of patients receiving anaesthesia to ensure their safety and comfort.- Patient Monitoring: Throughout surgical procedures, you will monitor patients vital signs and alert the anaesthetist to any changes that may require attention.- Inventory Management: You will manage the stock of anaesthesia supplies, ensuring that all necessary materials are available and properly stored for quick access during procedures.- Adhering to Safety Protocols: You will follow strict safety procedures and protocols to ensure a safe environment for both patients and staff during anaesthesia practices.To be successful in this role, candidates are expected to have the following skills:- Strong attention to detail and ability to handle equipment with care.- Excellent communication skills to effectively collaborate with medical teams.- Basic understanding of medical terminology and anaesthesia procedures.- Ability to remain calm and focused in high-pressure situations.- A willingness to learn and take direction from experienced professionals.Recent graduates or those with minimal experience are encouraged to apply, as ongoing training and support will be provided.
