Ensuring accuracy in financial reporting and compliance Supervising junior accountants and coordinating with cross-functional teamsJob Responsibilities: 1) Prepare and review financial statements including profit & loss accounts, balance sheets, and cash flow statements.2) Ensure timely completion of month-end and year-end financial closing activities.3) Maintain and reconcile the general ledger.4) Assist in the internal and statutory audit.5) Perform monthly reconciliations of bank accounts, vendor accounts, and other general ledger accounts.6) Ensure accurate entries for all transactions, and maintain a systematic record of financial data.7) Assist in the preparation of annual budgets and financial forecasts.8) Ensure timely and accurate filing of GST, TDS, and other statutory returns.9) Assist in income tax and corporate tax assessments, as per Indian tax laws10) Handle tax audits and ensure compliance with tax regulations11) Oversee the accounts payable and receivable process12) Monitor the timely payment to vendors and collections from customers13) Carry out any additional assignments given from time to time.
