Job Responsibilities: Prepares visual presentations by designing art and copy layouts. Maintain monthly data of all the work done and transfer data safely into portable hard disk. File the hard copy of approved design in office design file. Maintain event photos and videos monthly. Graphic Designer Job Duties: Prepares work to be accomplished by gathering information and materials Plans concept by studying information and materials Illustrates concept by designing rough layout of art and copy regarding arrangement, size, type size and style, and related aesthetic concepts Obtains approval of concept by submitting rough layout for approval Prepares finished copy and art by operating typesetting, printing, and similar equipment; purchasing from vendors Prepares final layout by marking and pasting up finished copy and art Ensures operation of equipment by completing preventive maintenance requirements; following manufacturer's instructions; troubleshooting malfunctions; calling for repairs; maintaining equipment inventories; evaluating new equipment Completes projects by coordinating with outside agencies, art services, printers, etc. Maintains technical knowledge by attending design workshops; reviewing professional publications; participating in professional societies Contributes to team effort by accomplishing related results as needed.

Plan, organize, and deliver graphic design instruction in didactic, laboratory and/or classroom settings to promote student success within a community college setting.Support and promote the college and departmental missions centered on excellence in teaching and learning through quality instruction, curriculum enhancement, and service.Collaborate with department chair, faculty, and peers to evaluate, revise, and develop curriculum to cultivate the mastery of course content.Provide students with frequent, timely assessment of and clear feedback regarding academic performance.Appropriately document student progress and maintain accurate records such as attendance, grading and achievement of student learning outcomes.Honor student confidentiality and privacy as per appropriate laws, regulations and college rules.Proctor exams, participate in departmental meetings, as well as college taskforces and/or committees as necessary.Maintain appropriate office hours proportionate to the instructional assignment.
